If you are looking to get away from everything for a while, why not take a trip in a car. Think about it, no one to tell you that you have to sit in a specific seat and no time limits that you have to abide by. You get the freedom to go where you want and the freedom to stay as long as you want. No guided tours and no public transportation that can slow you
down. You are in control of everything and where and what you see. There are many benefits of taking a trip in your car and here are some of them.

Tired of being rushed at a site that you really want to see and learn more about? If you are, a guided tour is not for you because they are timed and only have a certain amount of time to give the tour. They have more tours to give so they have a certain amount of time to tell you about the main points of interest. If you are on your own, you have all the time in the world because ours. You have until the sites closes for the day.

Another thing is that you can plan a trip and go only to the sites you want to see instead of visiting sites you really care nothing about.  On a guided tour, you can get a lot of sites that are just put into the tour to kill some time, not really interesting.
